12 things about my life during this festive season:


1) Writing 30 Christmas cards is seriously NO JOKE. I cannot believe that I would stay up and sacrifice some sleep just to do them *LOL* I take 2hrs to complete like 4??! The receiver would probably only spend 30 seconds reading it. And never re-read it again.

2) An amazing discovery I've made out of writing so many cards: 99.999999% of my friends' names have an alphabet E. If you don't have, you're seriously the remaining 1 x 10^-100000000 percent.

3) Ever since I'm back from Thailand, for the past 10 days, I've only stayed home for dinner once. I feel so apologetic towards my family.

4) My father is sometimes harsh, but most of the time silly. He actually stays up to wait for children to be home before he sleeps. So in order not to make him stay up (duh), I try to be a good kid and get home as early as possible.

5) Actually turkey meat tastes like duck meat.

6) I can take a freaking 50 minutes just to get from my house to Orchard. And facebook is seriously, really, truly, madly really irritating me now, with the photos upload. It's already 1.5hrs of irritation.

7) I was so eager and excited to catch Titanic on Star Movies,and I felt satisfied after watching it. Not because of "you jump, I jump", but because I saw the literature behind it.

8) It takes courage to do something, peace to go about doing it, and hope to see that what you've done will be carried through.

9) There are practically more female motorcyclists in Thailand than males. That's just too cool.

10) Images of the people I've in Thailand will pop up in my head occasionally, and I miss climbing mountains and chit chatting with with my mission trippers.

11) I made myself listen to the same song for 4 times, but I still cannot fully capture the essence of "all we need is found in You". Simple words, but profound wisdom. I need more time to chew on it.

12) Now when I think about it, I wonder how did I survive with my 5 days of diarrhoea in Thailand. I lost so much water, mineral salts, vitamins etc. I was completely stunned when I saw what the weighing machine told me. And nope, it wasn't funny.
